Frequently Asked QuestionsGeneral
ClanBase Radio was originally launched in 2001-2002 and worked actively for several years mainly providing commentary coverage for the most exciting EuroCup and NationsCup matches on ClanBase, but also entertaining its listeners with enjoyable music. The station was shut down due to lack of interest and broadcasters.
CB Radio has come back live in October 2008 with a new management, radio crew, website, servers and programme, providing 24/7 entertainment and music shows.
ClanBase Radio is a radio station that is not only targeted at gamers, but at anyone who loves great music and entertainment. Most of our shows are hosted by the presenters who entertain the listeners by playing their requests, taking them on the air, organising contests and giving away prizes.
Our radio team consists of DJs with different music styles. Throughout the week you'll be able to hear pop, rock, indie, dance, trance, house and hardstyle music. Most of the DJs accept song requests interactively on IRC - so be sure to stick around when the show is live.
Channel 2 on CB Radio is specialized purely on gaming where our commentators bring you the best shoutcast coverage of CB matches, but also of other gaming leagues. For the moment we provide coverage for CS 1.6, CS:S, UT, UT2004 and MoH:AA.
Yes. Both ClanBase Radio channels are fully licensed with British licensing company PPL UK.
