ClanBase Radio presents: NUDE - A way to revitalize the rock scene!
The vocal reminds me of Brian Molko from Placebo, but this music is much more positive. Punk sounds and Muse-like riffs make it all very interesting. The synthesized melodies are catchy and very well produced.
Whereas so many bands nowadays are style over substance, it’s not the case here!
Nude are: Tony Karlsson, Bobby Amaro, Dave Mattera. They are responsible for writing, arranging, producing, mixing and mastering of their album Fearless Generation. The title of the album definitely mirrors the courage we can hear. This music has many layers, you can hear all the listed inspirations but at the same time it sounds extremely sharp and fresh. It consists of 12 tracks. The whole thing starts in a very theatrical manner – Cry Sometime – energetic song about lost love, followed by Hero, the first single from the album.
In Ruin Lives Together they slow down a little but not for long. Hell keeps up the speed of the whole album. Most of the tracks tell us a story about a relationship, escape and fear. What I love about these tunes is that they take you to some places you weren’t expecting (I think my favourite would be Ruin Lives Together, right after Hero). Alive, electronic cry for love, closes the album nicely, again, theatrical manner that I so expected.
Judging by the power and focus on this album, we will be hearing from them a lot in the future as well. Looking forward to hearing what they bring us after having found and explored “their own destiny”.
