CB Radio presents: Animagnetical - Life's slipping away through our hands...
Once again we are proving that the Polish rock scene is alive and kickin'! These guys (originally in DIESEL, BAD TASTE, PLEROMS GATE) started playing together in 2006 and in 2010 they released an EP with five tracks on it: Peace Of Mind, Home Alone, Time To Walk Away (Here & Now), Never Too Late, Breakin' Out.Whereas Peace Of Mind really reminds me of Axl’s group, Never Too Late sounds more like Pearl Jam. Clearly these guys love the 90’s. But who doesn’t? Time To Walk Away (Here & Now) is one of my favourites! It’s the only ballad song on the release, telling us a story about not fitting in and taking things into one’s own hands. It starts very subtly but then it gathers momentum with the vocals using a lot of their potential.
From start to finish this is an interesting offering for all the classic rock fans. You can hear the longing for the sounds and styles of the 80’s and 90’s. The band is also recording in Polish but let’s hope we’ll hear from them in English soon again.
