Presenter revealed: DJ Apoc of ClanBase Radio

Hello there Apoc and welcome to the 5th interview of the CB Radio crew! If you would, can you please tell the people who don't know you something about yourself?

Hi my name is Peter McGee aka DJ Apoc, born December 1972 which makes me about 24, I live in Middlesbrough in the North East of England.

In your spare time when you're not DJ'ing, what do you like to do?

Masturbate, I am what's called a pub sports tri-athlete, Pool, Darts and Dominoes and I used to play golf but my job and shifts restricts that a bit of late but I hope to get back into it, did I mention I like to j*** off??

Haha, so what interested you in joining ClanBase Radio and how did you hear about it?

It started when I was coverage sup a few years ago and Decl was our shoutcaster and I found out that he was starting ClanBase Radio. I had quite a lot of music (over 100,000 mp3) so I decided it would be good to air it as a DJ so I joined and have been there from the start.

So what type of DJ are you, the talkative kind, person that plays everyone's requests, or prefer to give the listeners the perfect experience?

To be honest, I really don't mind what kind of music I play. I will play any request and I like to mix up my show with some old stuff as well as a bit of cheese and even some dance and hard rock. My taste is varied and the only stuff I don't like is rap which I think is pointless crap.

Hehe, so what is your favourite record of all time?

Well my favorite band from my youth is/was Adam And The Ants and I still like all their tracks to this day, but my favorite tracks lately are Kings Of Leon - Sex On Fire and Pearl Jam - Given To Fly.

As you said your music database is quite large, but what sort of music genres do you prefer and why?

The best era for music was by far the 80s and I like a lot of music from then but I like quite a bit of rock and harder rock of late and also I'm into the Elvis Presley era and artists from the 60s. Hardcore, dance and rap just doesn't float my boat.

When you're on air, do any nerves kick in or are you just a relaxed person?

Well now you mention this I was chatting in the radio priv channel when suddenly "(18:27:53) (@`Apoc) im that eager to get online im actually nervous and shaking a bit", normally I'm really relaxed and love going on air as the music I play is what I like but for some reason I was a bit edgy on Friday, the 30th.

Now, I know you know ClanBase as you are a supervisor and you do play games there, but can you tell us about gaming history?

Well only UT online and on ClanBase but I like the Half Life series as well as Crysis, Fear and Farcry 2. Games like that hold my attention for hours on end and I usually play them more than once, not to sure about the CoD series - I have banned too many players to really attempt it online :).

Okay, now as you know, some DJs like to have listeners call in and have a chat with them. Is that something you do and something you think is a good idea or do you strongly disagree with it?

Nah I think its a brilliant idea especially if you get a idiot like me calling to ssmmdd show drunk or you get Hellen who does nothing but laugh and giggle, I did used to get callers in my show but I am struggling to get Skype working but I will succeed in the end.

We know you will! If there were no limits, is there anything within CB Radio that you would change?

Yeah deffo, I would make the female DJs do live cam shows in outfits of my choice like a nurse or a slutty teacher and they would perform a pole dance. I would also make Decl post a pic of him on the radio site www.clanbaseradio.com and reveal his real name, oh and make ssmmdd wear false boobies.

Ahaha, okay that's all my questions for now, are there any shoutouts you have for listeners out there?

Yeah, a big shout to all the DJs who do an awesome job, and the listeners who keep tuning into the shows as without them we wouldn't have a radio, also to KeyZer for winning the prize I gave away in my show the week before, I think he fancies me.
