Hello there Nitroxx and welcome to the 7th interview of the CB Radio crew! If you would, can you please tell the people who don't know you something about yourself?

Sure, my real name is Dennis and besides DJ'ing I also have other interests. Like in my spair time I do muay thai (that's some sort of kickboxing), I also play soccer in a local team and I go out with friends every weekend, go to big events like Q-Base, Masters of Hardcore, ...

I live in Belgium but I'll probably move to Holland next year. Nothing really more to say about me, I'm just a social normal guy who enjoys life.

Now, I've noticed you haven't been at the decks for a while, what sort of stuff have you been doing with yourself?

I got some sort of disease and it took a long time to recover from it. The least thing I did I became very tired so I couldn't spend time behind my decks anymore. I slept hours and hours haha. But now that I'm all in shape again I'm enjoying it more than ever.

Im sorry to hear that. So what interested you in joining ClanBase Radio and where and when did you hear about it?

I've been in the ClanBase crew for about 4 years now and I've done several things there for the gaming community but when CB Radio was born I knew I had to get involved in that cause music is my passion and since I was already in the crew I gave it a shot. So I've also gave up all my other tasks within the crew just to focus on my music career. I just enjoy it so much.

That's nice, so what sort of DJ are you, the silent or talkative and what music do you play?

I'm more of a silent DJ cause I perform a live mix for my listeners. Although I've just bought a new cable for my microphone and I try to talk a little through my mix but not a lot cause I want maximum music for my listeners. I mainly play hardstyle here at CB Radio but also some hardcore mostly to end my mix.

What types of music do you listen to outside of CB Radio?

Everything. I really can listen to all types of music besides metal. It depends where I am or what I'm doing. On big partys I like house, hardstyle, hardcore but on local partys or at home RnB or DnB. It's all good.

What is your most favourite song of all time?

Don't really have a favorite song of all time since I like a lot of songs and I can never choose haha.

Do you find yourself nervous when you're about to go on air, or when you're doing your show?

Most of the time I'm pretty calm or I try to be. I just do my own thing where I find myself comfortable with and normally things go smooth then. But of course I have days that I mess it up a little and that's when I'm getting a bit nervous but that doesn't happen very often.

Ok, so as you know, ClanBase is a large international gaming website that is host to dozens of gaming ladders and cups. Have you ever entered any of these cups and won something?

Not really cause I never had the time to do that. I was always busy working for ClanBase as a supervisor, as a judge, a chief, ... . I only entered a PES cup twice or so but I never won anything cause again I didn't have enough time to practice and get myself at a good level to get those prizes.

Most DJs, as you may know, have a Skype function where they get listeners to call in, I know you said you are more of a silent DJ, but is this something you think is a good idea or something you strongly oppose?

It is a good idea and I support it 100% but it wouldn't fit in my show. I'm not really a 'Radio DJ' - I'm a DJ. I got my vinyls and I mix music just like Tiësto, David Guetta, etc. And the call in function is more for the radio dj's but it's pretty amusing and fun for listeners to directly interact with the show host.

Yeah thats true. Now, if there were no limits, could you improve CB Radio at all?

I could organize a CB Radio event somewhere on a party location haha. No I don't really have a clue how I would do that. I just do my own thing and try to do my best to deliver high quality livesets for the listeners.
