DJ Snoxy has just passed his trial. Warm welcome to him too, please

Personally I find this debate curious to say the least.
I have always broadcasted my show under sub header of "rock & roll mania", yet I also play Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash and god forbid, some cheese for fun like Rick Astley or Ashford & Simpson. Does that mean I can't say I'm a rock guy"
Without passing any judgement, I feel that criticizing somebody for going outside of the box they themselves mentioned the show would contain is thinking inside the box and in terms of borders and limitations.
I am the rock and roll, the music is just a part of what makes my show, in my case anyway.
And also, saying that criticizing taste is not a direct comment towards the person is faulty in my eyes. Otherwise I could say that your face sucks but you have a great personality.

Music should be about sharing and passion, not tags, titles and boundries.

But hey, that's just my 2 cents.

Well, i didn't say anything wrong about you or your trial not like you who criticised my music taste and flamed my knowledge based on a playlist. read carefully:

I never said that cascada, lady gaga and stuff like that are trance. If they have 1-2 songs in that category: be it, i don't really care. I already commented on the greatest hits issue. Also if you think atb deserves a trance spot, then go for it, make your playlist and do it. Moreover i dunno where you get that this is my whole music database and i dont have any music by the listed bands (btw thievery corporation is one of my alltime favs, nice taste there, i just got bored of it lately )

I'm not done yet you say that I can't put a chillout mix under the chillout name since they are trance artists...oO...i mean...wtf...? XD

I seriously laughed a lot on your criticism Wether or not you are a pro dj or i dunno what, you are pretty childish stating that you know everything better than a stranger you know nothing about. Constructive criticism is good, but opinions based on so few information serving with full of ego and flame is pointless and pathetic.
I'd never criticise aynone's taste. And to the flame about my knowledge, genres and music: I won't even comment...

I think your post's tone was very rude and snobby, u could have made ur point in a more friendly manner without the rude sarcasm and calling someone musically ignorant.

yeah, i don't know anything about them except if i remember correctly i didn't say anything about "having all chillout songs in the world" also "greatest hits" are the "greatest hits" albums from the bands with like 2 exceptions where i put the whole discographies. Shall i rename it in your opinion?

Also considering that the playlists were just made before my trial i still count on them as they are in "alpha stage" so your flamerage didn't have any effect, sorry to disappoint you

I think you need to take a chillpill tanja, i heard tonfish did great and you did hmmmm less then great. So imho ur in no position to talk trash about any DJ. There are few things i dislike more then people who talk trash about others and people being snobby about music, you just checked both those boxes. But thats just me

Congrats to you tonfish for making it trough, u seem like a nice guy and my girlfriend said ur trial was good, will tune in next time when u have a show! (if i dont work)
