About

Decl could have been first seen online in 1998 using very different nicknames every time getting on IRC. By then the IRC network he used was IRCnet. In about 1999, he has finally chosen a nickname which he's now been with for over 10 years - Decl.

Differently from big part of other ClanBase Radio staff, Decl is still an active gamer. He began playing Unreal Tournament in late 2002 and hasn't stopped ever since. Today he still runs a clan and regularly plays matches on ClanBase.

In the end of 2005, Decl, together with his Latvian mate Buda, founded The Gaming Shoutcast. The TGS Radio team focused on providing shoutcast coverage to gamers - and this is also where Decl has started his shoutcasting career. At the same time, TGS was also a music radio which was loved by many in the UT scene. TGS team by then included some of the current CB Radio staff - Ins0mnia, Eisregen, Glasya - and some other nowadays known shoutcasters in gaming.

In 2007 Decl joined the ClanBase Crew as UT Coverage Supervisor. Shortly after he also became an Estonian translator and a year later took the Translations Assistant task in Crew. Some more time passed and Decl climbed his way up to ClanBase Chief of Translations.

By 2008 TGS project was nearing its death and Decl got interested in re-launching ClanBase Radio. Together with DrZizi and other helpful hands in crew, they finally managed to get the project up and running and October 13th, 2008 can be officially considered as the launch date of ClanBase Radio.

Today, Decl is a show host of Tü on Tü and Unreal-series commentator on CB Radio also holding the tasks of Chief of Media and developer on ClanBase. Due to lack of motivation, Decl stopped dealing with coverage of Unreal Tournament on ClanBase - today, it's only shoutcasting.

Decl provides commentary in UT iCTF, saCTF, nwCTF and UT2004 iCTF.
